About this School Project (Alphabet Soup Watercolor Resist 1st)
Students learned how to use a ruler to draw straight lines, which they used to draw a napkin and a tablecloth design. They also learned how to use a compass to draw a circle for their soup bowl. After that, they used crayons to write letters in their soup bowl. They also added a shadow under their napkin and soup bowl using a black oil pastel. Then, they colored their piece using watercolor paint, which resisted the crayon.
