Artist Statement (what ELIN609 said about their artwork)
My favorite part of this artwork is the snake. My least favorite is the background I made because it just doesn't look good. My spirit animal is a snake and I chose this animal because people mischaracterized me a lot and snakes are very mischaracterized. Something i would change if i were to create this again is burnishing it more because the ink didn't stick very well. I learned how to carve and ink stuff. I first made what i wanted the print to look like and then carved, then I printed.
