About this School Project (Seashells)
1st graders were doing a study on Jan Brett and her books! We read "The Mermaid" and were inspired by the illustrations. We created shells with oil pastel and got messy smudging it to make it look more 3D. Then students created a background for their seashells using construction paper crayons for details and bottle caps to print bubbles with paint!
