About this School Project (Collaborative Cityscape Assembled)
Our cityscape was inspired by current working artist Paul Kenton. Students discussed his work and how he creates cityscapes with non traditional tools. Each grade level contributed to one part of the cityscape, which is 9' high by 15' feet wide. The individual contributions to the mural have been loaded to Artsonia also in a separate artsonia folder to remember their contribution to the mural.
Kindergarten - stars - layering oil pastel stars, pencil, and marker
First grade - clouds - layering oil pastels, pencil, and marker
Second grade - street lights - layering pencil, marker, neon paint, and contrasting paint black/purple
Third grade - people - pencil, marker, crayon
Fourth grade - cars - layering pencil, marker, neon paint, and contrasting paint black/purple
Fifth and sixth grade - buildings - layering pencil, marker, neon paint, and contrasting paint black/purple
