About this School Project (Cubists Landscapes)
French painter Georges Braque was the inspiration for our 7th grade painters. Braque along with Picasso started a new movement in art later dubbed as cubism. Braque’s landscapes were colorful abstract pieces. Using a sponge and cardboard to paint, our 7th graders endeavored to create their own cubists landscape.
Color,space,and texture were emphasized.
