About this School Project (3 Maria Primachenko Animal Paintings)
We looked at the work of Ukrainian artist Maria Primachenko for inspiration on this project. She painted fantastic, abstract, patterned animals in her own unique style. She included patterns on the animals and the background that featured flowers, leaves, shapes and sometimes food! Her animals were sometimes a combination of different animals (or animals with people), and she included unexpected things too. Students went back over their paintings with PrismaColors to redefine details and add more pattern.
