About this School Project (5-C Layered Landscapes)
5th graders created Layered Landscapes based on the art of Robin Mead. Robin Mead is an American contemporary artist who works in watercolor, digital art and mixed media. Her landscapes, flowers and birds feature bold lines and bright, vibrant colors. mixed with heavy black lines. 5th grade students explored the concept of space in a landscape by creating an accordion folded landscape that actually stands up on it’s own. They used watercolors to paint each section. Check out these awesome pieces of art!
