About this School Project (Enlarged Comic - Grid Enlarging Method-6th & 7th)
The students are learning some basic drawing techniques of using a Grid to transfer and image and change the size at the same time. We are starting with a simple, very small colored comic pane from the newspaper, dividing the space into a 4X4 grid and matching it to a larger paper set up the same way. We then start with the easiest square and proceed to the more difficult. Next we outline with black marker and begin filling with crayon color to match our original comic as best we can. The students usually love this project and are quite pleased with their successful results. We hope you enjoy our show!
