About this School Project (Kudu-lah Monsters in the City: Flashlight Version)
Kudu-lah is a husband and wife team that travels the country, taking photographs of interesting places. They later add monsters to the image, making them tourists. The monsters were originally based on people they saw on the New York subway. Kenny makes the characters, and Jen makes the biographies for the monsters. Students made cities from geometric shapes on a sheet protector, then drew monsters so they are superimposed (added on top of) the image, like they are photobombing or snapping vacation pictures. After coloring the monsters, they made a flashlight to help them light up the night!
