About this School Project (Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night)
Inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night. We used shaving cream and food coloring/paint to create swirls with a spoon to show the glowing stars and moon and wavy lines with a fork to show the wind. Once students created the painting, we placed the cardstock on top, applied pressure, and then scraped the shaving cream off to reveal the printed art on the cardstock! We reviewed texture, color, and value. Secondary color green was reviewed!
