About this School Project (In Like a Lion)
Kindergartners discussed the expression, "In like a lion, out like a lamb" and read a book to go with it. Usually at the beginning of March, the weather is still very wintry but by the end of March, it becomes more mild and Spring like. It sure did feel Spring like for once at the beginning of March though! For our lesson, we used lines and shapes to draw our lions and we colored it creatively with crayons. We also learned how to turn 2D paper into 3D paper for our fierce lion mane. The 2 types of paper manipulation we learned are curling and zig-zag/fan fold. We also used many types of collage paper as well as paint, making our lion look extra special. Guess which animal we will be focusing on next? Don't forget to compliment your favorite artist!
