I like that it is made out of clay.
About this School Project (Clay)
Students begin clay in Kindergarten creating a pinch pot using tools and glaze to decorate it. Once students have learned the basics of pinch pots, K-2 students continue to explore within clay learning how to score and slip clay when attaching pieces, slab and coil techniques and different ways to finish and decorate clay. Students will also work collaboratively in K-2 each year to create bowls for our annual Empty Bowls event held each year.
