I used pencils and paintbrushes to make the dots. This was a fun project.
About this School Project (2nd Australian dot paintings)
Students learned about the indigenous people of Australia's traditional dot painting. They learned about dreamtime stories and noticed that the paintings ofter depicted animals and symbols. Students chose an Australian animal or used their handprints to paint. Later, they added dots with stamps and the ends of their paintbrush in a design.
