About this School Project (Color Mixing)
2nd grade students began their Color unit by learning about color families such as primary and secondary as well as warm and cool colors. Students were then tasked with creating a painting that had to include at least 8 colors and a main idea. They were given only red, yellow and blue paint to encourage individual color mixing and creativity.
