About this School Project (Kente Pattern Paper Weaving)

Students will first learn about the Kente patterns from African fabric makers. Then they will use these designs plus their own creations to create columns of patterns that will be cut apart then woven into a paper weaving project.
The patterns that students select from the Kente patterns as well as the ones they create on their own should all represent the students life, likes and what mand the most to them.
Once the papers are woen together then these projects will tell a story of the students life.
