About this School Project (All About Me Quilt (Gee's Bend))
Students learned about quilts made by people that live in Gee's Bend. They planned out a paper quilt that includes symbols that represent different things about them. Students created the quilt in a collage style by cutting and gluing paper. Lastly, they had the option of adding details with Sharpie. These quilts will be hung up at the 2nd & 3rd grade music concert this year.
