About this School Project (Nonobjective Line Painting)
Students learned about a variety of line types, then practiced drawing one of each in oil pastel. Once their lines were drawn, they searched for shapes and spaces created by the intersections of the lines and painted each space a different color than its neighbor. The resulting artwork is an eye-catching nonobjective piece.
