Artist Statement (what Michael55361 said about their artwork)
Wildflowers and wildhorses. The horses are named gleek and purple flower chunk with yellow dots. They like to eat that.
About this School Project (Wildflower Field-4)
FINE ARTS NIGHT PROJECT! Fourth graders mixed a tint (color + white) and shade (color + black) of blue and then blended them to create a fading sky. Next, they created a lighter green with yellow and white and a darker green with blue to create the base color for the grass and dabbed their brush on top of the blended paint to create texture. When the paint was dry they used chalk to add more texture to the grass and painted wildflowers. Finally, they added some finishing touches with chalk and wrote their artist statements.
