Artist Statement (what Mya9290 said about their artwork)
For this project I created a beach with water. The beach inspired my creation. I am at my happiest when I am in the sand, so I decided to create that. I researched different quilling to see what style I liked most. I chose to do circles varying in sizes instead of all the same. I challenged myself to create something I liked, and also made me feel happy when I looked at it. If I were to do it again I would add more texture to the sand. I think the different colors in the water turned out well.
