I love to ski and I love fruits so this inspired me to create this.
About this School Project (6th Grade Portfolio - Celentano)
Welcome to Art class! Your first assignment is to design the cover of your portfolio.
This year your portfolio will be a place to keep all of your handouts, sketches, and art projects you do during your time in this class.
For this first assignment you are tasked to
- put your name, grade, and homeroom number on the front of your portfolio
- decorate your portfolio with drawings that let me know a bit about who you are (what do you like to do, listen to, watch?)
- properly photograph and upload a picture of your final design to the attached rubric when you are finished. This photo should be clear. Please take your time to take a good photograph of your work
- Write a 3 sentence artist statement describing your thought process, the materials you used, and what you chose to draw. I included guiding questions to help you.
You can use materials such as pencils, crayons, sharpie markers, colored pencils, construction paper, and magazines to decorate the front cover of your portfolio
