Artist Statement (what Mattingly44 said about their artwork)
I worked like Patrick martinez by making a neon sign with a meaningful quote on it. My favorite part of this artwork was getting to customize the sign. My inspiration to create this piece of work was that sometimes people are not themselves but there is no one better than you.
About this School Project (Neon Message)
Sixth grade artists looked at and discussed the neon sign art of Patrick Martinez. Next, they brainstormed and shared ideas for a message they wanted to communicate. Then, they created a digital neon sign, selecting the font, color and arrangement. Last, they wrote about their digital art.
