About this School Project (5th Gr. Faces)
All of this art work has been posted for each student to see their own work. Because some of the self portraits contain personal information (in other words half of their face is their actual photograph) that art remains private, therefore only you can view your own face. The portraits of public figures can be viewed by all.
Fifth grade students were given the choice to work on a realistic self portrait or a portrait of a public figure.
For the realistic portraits, students used the other half of the face to sketch and then worked with pencil to draw and shade in that half of the face to create the portrait.
