About this School Project (Kinder Hearts)
Kindergarten students (aka kinders!) created these layered paintings with tempera paint while learning about warm and cool colors. We spent three messy classes exploring mark making and texture with brushes and a variety of found objects including bubble wrap, cups, tape rolls, and more! While working on our paintings, we aimed to use repetition to create harmony in a work of art. After our colorful paintings were dry, we dabbed our brush around a heart for the final layer.
