About this School Project (Sailboats at Sunset)
We explored the idea of space and how things are smaller in an image, and closer to the horizon line when they are further away. We also reinforced the idea of warm and cool colors. To create our image we utilized marker printing with warm colors to create our sky at either sunrise or sunset. We painted a sheet of paper with various cool colors that we then tore to create our ocean waves. Finally, we utilized origami and printed designed paper to create our sailboats in various sizes.
