About this School Project (Mosaic)
Students learned about Mosaics and how they are made up of tiny pieces of material called tesserae. The mosaic art form has been around for thousands of years and is still used by contemporary artists today. Students then created their own mosaics made out of cut up colored paper making sure to leave spaces between the shapes to be the grout of their mosaic.
