About this School Project (1st grade Gyotaku Fish Prints)
We have been learning about the Lunar New Year that is celebrated in Asian countries. Students learned about Japanese fish prints called Gyotaku. They created one using a rubber fish and added a painted ocean background. They also added in some seaweed and coral to make it more colorful.
