About this School Project (Claude Monet's Water Lilies and Japanese Bridge)
Inspired by Claude Monet's Water Lilies with Japanese Bridge! Students traced a Japanese bridge with tape. Once they covered the bridge with tape, we discussed that we would paint everything except the bridge or the "negative space" around the bridge. Students used water colors to paint the paper with a paint brush, a rectangular sponge brush, and a cylindrical sponge brush. Once the tape was removed... you can see the bridge!
