About this School Project (2nd Grade - Winter Folk Art Trees)
We looked at folk art from different areas of the world and talked about how it is created by untrained artists who learn their craft from family and close friends. Often folk artists are inspired by their own cultural art. Realism and accuracy are not at the forefront of folk art. One can often look at patterns, symbols, and color usage to determine which culture the folk art came from. We hope you enjoy our whimsical folk art trees!
