Artist Statement (what Nora8936 said about their artwork)
My favorite part of this artwork was the shading, as i hadn't drawn anything with harsh lighting before. My inspiration was the drawing of mr dearolf that was on the board at the time. If i were to create it again, I'd fix the proportions, as theyre a little off. I learned how to shade and hatch better, along with how to pair very dark tones and very light ones. I was surprised by how decently it came out, as i dont draw realism. to create this, i roughly blocked in my features with a regular pencil following the grid, then put in the darkest points with charcoal, followed by the lightest and then the mid tones.
