About this School Project (1st Graders Have the Blues - 1)
Our first graders have the blues! Every tint and shade of blue, that is! They learned the correct way to hold a ruler to make straight lines and then used tempera paint to paint in all of their shapes. They worked really hard to mix oodles of different blues. They made lighter blues with white paint and darker blues with black paint. Sometimes they even mixed all the colors together! After the paint was dry, they added patterns with metallic and white colored pencils.
