About this School Project (Christmas tree ornaments)
Students drew pine tree branches using oil pastel, layering greens, brown, and white. They used water color paint over the oil pastel and learned how oil and water don't mix. Students then worked on the ornaments with oil pastel. They learned a technique to make the ornaments look 3-D. Then students "decorated their trees!"
