About this School Project (4th Gr. Visually Effective Compositions with Pine Branches)
4th Grade artists used their drawing skills to draw the contour of a pine branch. They used repeated lines and different values of green to make it look like the actual texture of pine needles! Students then chose the type of sky or other details they thought would make an interesting composition!
Students were working toward the following Ohio Visual Art Standards:

4.3CR Consider the elements of art and principles of design to create visually effective compositions.
