About this School Project (2nd Grade Colorful Winter Landscape)
Students learned about linear perspectives. Linear perspective is a mathematical system for creating the illusion of space and distance on a flat surface. Students used watercolor to create their winter landscape. Next, students used tissue paper to create their colorful trees. Lastly, students glued their trees to focus on the linear perspective for the placement of their trees--trees get smaller as they approach the horizon line.
