About this School Project (5th Grade Three Kings)
Our 5th graders worked on a collage of the three kings. They have been learning about layout and design (composition). The background is created first while the three kings and the star are added later. They used their creativity to design the image out of recycled Christmas cards. I can’t wait to see how different they all look.
Day 1: Build backgorund with construction paper to create sand and rolling hills. Add village in background.
Day 2: Create the 3 kings out of recyled Christmas cards. For clarity Students need to design the kings without the use of the background
Day 3: Assemble the collage with all pieces to create the scene of the three Kings following the star bring gifts to Jesus.
