Artist Statement (what Patrick14288 said about their artwork)
I started by sketching out my picture on my block. Then I used tracing paper to transfer the designs to the stock paper, then cut them out. I put bubbles in the glue to create the surf, which turned out best in print 8/8 (bottom right). I found this really interesting, along with experimenting with different ways of inking the plate. In print 8/8, a part of why the foam turned out so well was that it had some of the black from previous prints mixed in with the yellow. I didn't mean to do that, but it turned out really well.
