About this School Project (Art I Holiday Acrylic Painting-Tree)

In this step by step painting students learned how to use different paint brushes for different effects. Students learned how to use value within our tints and shades of color to create a feeling of depth. For some of these students it was their first time painting on a canvas surface and this project is perfect for a beginner artist. Not only are they learning how to use tools and mediums but most importantly they are learning how to relax, enjoy the process and to realize that they cannot judge or dislike their work too early. This is the perfect project to usher us into our Holiday Break.
