About this School Project (2nd Grade - Color: Landscape Silhouette)
These fun morning/night skies are beautiful! The students used a watercolor technique, called a wash on wash. By using a water wash to blend the watercolors together, the students were able to combined beautiful warm and cool colors to create a unique morning/night sky. The last step was to draw and cut out a landscape, out of black paper, to collage a silhouette against their beautiful sky. The students chose mountains, oceans, and other fun landscapes to show their silhouette's against their colorful sky. Enjoy!
