About this School Project (Hot Air Balloon Collage)
Students had a lot of fun creating this colorful and surreal scene. The background sky is done in tempera paint, and the hot air balloons they designed were done in oil pastel and watercolor paint. After choosing a location for the flight, they then arranged the pieces of their collage to create a whimsical scene. We think you'll get carried away with the results!
