About this School Project (Georgia O'Keeffe Poppies)
Second grade students learned about the artist Georgia O'Keeffe and what inspired her art making! They also got to see examples of Mrs. Leary's paintings of red poppies. We talked about the significance of poppies during Veterans Day and Memorial Day. We then created our own zoomed in poppy paintings in the style of O'Keeffe!
