About this School Project (Warm, Cool, & Neutral Birch Trees)
Kindergarten and first grade students discussed how colors can make us feel and what they remind us of. We talked about birch trees and why they are important in our state! We then used cardboard pieces to scrape black paint across our paper to make a birch tree texture. We used color sticks to create a cool color background. The painted paper got chopped up and glued on to make birch trees, and we added brown shadows and branches. Lastly, we added warm color leaves!
