About this School Project (1st-Color Wheel Turkeys)
1st grade artists created these terrific turkeys! First, they carefully followed along to draw the turkey after starting with just a simple circle for the head and body. Next, they colored the tip of each feather in color wheel order. Then, they drew a different pattern in each feather using a crayon. Lastly, they carefully painted the turkey using watercolor paint and the wax resist technique so all of the patterns could still be seen!
