About this School Project (Colorful Chameleons--1st)
First grade artists heard two stories about chameleons, "Neon Leon" by Jane Clarke and illustrated by Britta Teckentrup and "A Color of His Own" by Leo Lionni. We used shapes to draw the chameleon and the primary colors mixed to create a rainbow for color. To finish our art, artists added a background with marker and oil pastel.
