About this School Project (5-B Mindful Moments)
What makes one feel mindful? One definition describes "mindfulness as maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens. This lesson and the accompanying book, Happy, explore the concept of working to develop a sense of mindfulness. Students drew their own mindful moments to create a beautifully layered watercolor and colored pencil drawing, full of texture and value.
