About this School Project (2nd - Plains Indians Landscape)
Students made 5 different papers using different painting techniques, and then tore and layered their papers to create land and a sunset sky. They then chose a sun or a moon to add to their sky. Finally, they looked at examples of different teepees that would have been used by various plains Indian tribes and drew one or more teepees to add to their landscape. We used broken toothpicks at the top of the teepees to create a more realistic feel.
