About this School Project (2nd Movement Dog)
2nd graders learned about the artist Iris Scott, who is known for painting shaking wet dogs using just her fingers. Students then drew a dog of their choice showing movement. They mixed their own colors to create the fur for their dogs and painting them using their fingers. Finally, students created a background showing water splashing using their fingers and a splatter paint technique.
