About this School Project (Snowman-1)
Students used clay to make a snowman. Students rolled and wedged their clay and learned how to form balls with the clay. After forming balls, students learned how to score their pieces to connect them together. Once the pieces of the snowman were connected, we put earmuffs on our snowman. Our snowman this year is holding a wreath, so the students learned how to roll clay and coil it together to create a wreath. They attached the wreath to the front of the snowman. After firing their projects, they glazed them and re-fired them.
