About this School Project (Watercolor Painting (lines & creative germs))
Students learned about different types of lines (vertical, horizontal, diagonal, curvy/wavy, zig-zag, and spiral). We played a drawing game and then used watercolor paints to decorate them. In another lesson we learned about germs and some watercolor painting techniques (wet-on-wet, creative color mixing, using a straw to blow the paint out sideways). When the paintings were dry students looked at a variety of emotions & facial expressions to add to their germs.
