About this School Project (4-A Bloom Collage Self Portrait)
This labor intensive drawing, painting, and collage lesson provided 4th graders with an exploration of texture and color. Students learned how to draw a face using proportions and how to use a limited color palette for their collage. Next, each student created a whimsical self portrait surrounded by their choice of flowers, leaves, gem stones, or something from their imagination. Some chose a combination of them all. These portraits are truly stunning!
