About this School Project (Mary Blair Landscape art)
Students will learn about Mary Blaine who was a concept artist for Disney back in the 1940s and 50s. They will learn how she changed the Disney movie color schemes and how her work still influences current Disney Concept artists.
2nd grade with create a landscape design with markers and a quick rough coloring. The pan using vibrant sand colors: students will cover their landscape with matching sand colors to create a textured and vibrant scene.
3rd grade will create fall landscape to include a foreground, midground and background using bold oil pastel colors. They will learn to blend the colors together.
