About this School Project (4th-Plaster Mask)
We discussed various types of masks, talked about functional vs. decorative masks and looked at masks from various cultures. Students chose an animal or human mask mold and made their mask by placing plaster strips over the mold. They painted their masks with tempera paint and added embellishments such as glitter, yarn, gems, etc.
